By Train

Naples Centrale or Mergellina, both of which are not far from the embarkation points. The central station is about 2 kms from Beverello quay, which can be reached easily either by taxi or by bus. Tickets can be bought into the station. Mergellina station is about 500 metres from Mergellina quay, from which only hydrofoils depart. The port can be reached by foot or by taxi.

 

By airplane

From Capodichino airport, Naples you can reach the Beverello quay (Molo Beverello) using either tax or bus. A shuttle bus links the airport directly with Beverello Pier and the ticket can be bought on board. By taxi it is possible also to reach Mergellina quay from which hydrofoils depart for the island of Ischia.

 By car

Motorway for Naples: after the Naples tollbooth, continue for about 12 kms and take the ring road (tangenziale) towards Pozzuoli. Follow the ring road until you get the first exit after Via Campana toll booth. Follow signs to the port and embark for Ischia Porto or Casamicciola Terme. If you choose Calata Porta di Massa, (always after the motorway tollbooth), follow the signs for the Naples port area (zona portuale) and then follow the signs for Calata Porta di Massa for embarkation to Ischia.
